Pet Camp in the Community

Today Pet Camp hosted 8 San Francisco high school students from the Mayor's Youth Employment and Education Program (MYEEP). MYEEP provides subsidized employment opportunities to about 1,400 high school age kids each year. The 8 students spent a few hours learning about Pet camp, what types of jobs there are at Pet Camp and in the animal care industry generally, and what type of education is needed to get these jobs. Each year Pet Camp not only hosts MYEEP students but also strives to hire at least one MYEEP student during the summer.
